John Doran's Project latest update:

1)  I finished the gear conversion on the transfer case (from 2.28 to the lower 4.70).
2)  I also got the transfer case doubler attached as well (mating two transfer cases together).  3)  Mated them to a new (new to me) transmission.  I haven't tested the transmission yet, so I might be taking it out if it doesn't work :(
4) Finished the 22R complete engine rebuild. I had it all together when I found out the parts place gave me the wrong timing chain, so I had to get back in there to put the new one on!  I still need to put the pressure plate and clutch on the engine (I got a Heavy Duty pressure plate and clutch from Marlin -- I hate burning clutches!)
5) Pulled the rear axles and differential (replaced the bearings on the axle -- it was a chore to build a puller to get them off!).
6) Mated a P/S pump from the 85 Toyota mini on my 82--fit perfect (I was worried about this!).

Tasks still to complete.

1) Pull the P/S gear from the 85 for the 82.
2) Lengthen and shorten both driveshafts (6.5") to accommodate for the transfer case doubler.
3) Change the differentials from 3.70 (I think) to 4.11 (from the 85).
4) Install a Auzzie locker in the rear (I have it on the bench waiting).
5) Put the engine and tranny back in (remount the tranny and transfer case since it has moved).
6) Cut new holes for the send transfer case stick shift.
7) and last (get some body armor on her for those tight spots at the Gulches!  )

I'll gets some pics for the next update.  If you're around my neck of the woods stop on off.

Jonathan Keller had and accident in his 6x6 military truck.  The damage to the front end is all very fixable.  The engine still starts and runs.  He doesn't want to drive it again after that experience.  He wants to get rid of it cheap.  $4,000 takes it home.  So for $4,000 you get a running 6x6 military truck with 3 Rockwell axles all with disc brake conversions, a multi-fuel military turbo engine, 12 new military tires, and only 20,000miles on the whole package.  Contact him directly if you want more info at jtkeller3@comcast.net or 706-840-3821
